update on marlene

Hello everyone......hugs and love from Marlene. I just spoke to her on the phone and she says" Thank you all so very, very much for your love and prayers. I can feel them working. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo"

She is currently in a support device for her shoulder, and the docs say they will see if the shoulder will mend on its own, before they commit to surgery. Her breathing is doing much better, though she still has nebulizer treatments. She is being given shots and pills for her pain, so she is in only mild discomfort unless she forgets and tries to use her right arm. (she is right handed ).

She also said right now, she couldn't wait for a ciggie....lol....I told her to be patient and the time will come for her to have one...lol

She has gone back to sleep now, so I will report more later......

hello all my crusher freinds {{{{{}}}}}}
just talked to mom and she is doing ALOT better you can hear it in her voice
she is getting moved to healthsouth rehab center to try and heal the break(after more xrays it is a break not just a fracture) @6pm tonight they thought she might have mersa(or what ever thats called the infection thats so bad these days) but tests not back she will be there for at least one week probly 2 depending on how it heals
your prayers are working folks thank you!!!!!
she misses everyone and she is very excited to get healed up and back to the forums asap and wants to make sure you all know how much she appreciates your prayers and love and kind thoughts!!

Ive been thinking of marlene lately...and some advice she gave me....and to find that she is and has been in the hospital.... i did listen to her advice...and it was good advice so she has been on my mind alot and all good...she is such a caring lady ...pleasse tell her notLOL finally listened...and cant wait to see her in bingo so i can thank her.
best bewith her health and recovery...smiling thoughts...flow thru and thru...hugs. joy

just talked to mom she is doing well they put a nicotine patch on her and it made her sick so thay are taking turns letting her go outside to smoke LOL thats my mommy her way or the highway ROFL
she said she is not allowed to do anything by herself (good thing) as far as moving around
therapy is going good and the oxy helps with the pain but makes her sweat and a little "jumpy"
im sicker than a dog (think i have a touch of the flu) so i havent seen her today but she sounds in great spirits
she said to tell you all and i quote her " when i get home you will not be able to shut me up and the chatters will wish i was back at the hospital" ROFL as slow as she types i bet you will all be okay ROFL

Roflllllllllllll....made me recall one of the first chats I went to...I finger-poke type myself,
but mama had me scrolling back up when she would say something that would make me
go"huh?" With all my scrolling/chat I had most Crushers, POLITELY giving me a __? also!

LOL OJ ,I think she does that on purpose as I have seen her say something to me a few times and I have to scroll up to see it as everyone is typing a hundred words per minute so I think she just keeps us on our toes lol. Laughing

oh ss Donna, just couldn't wait, huh????? I know how that can be.

Marlene is doing pretty well today, she had her oxygen cut back from 4 liters/min to 2 liters/min and was allowed outside for quite a while. In fact, she got some windburn on her cheeks although she was out of the direct sun. So, having enjoyed the day, she had to say God Bless You to all, and sends huge (((((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))) and love. She misses you all and can't wait to get home once again.

Well, there is no question but what we have all definitely missed Mamaw since she's been in hospital and rehab!

She is such a pleasure to have around! And for sure one of "us"!

Give her a huge hug from me!

Tell her that even in her absence she has still been with us! And has given us much to talk about!!!! LOL!
