I've always subscribed to the "no pain no gain" theory. But the older I get the more it hurts! I'm going to try and make my own medicine if I can ever get my hands on some of those those darn poppies. Jim Morrison sure seemed to enjoy them. :P

Darrin and Beckie!

I am sure your conversation was surely tongue in cheek, especially considering that Jim Morrison is a dead young man in his too-early grave!

Now if you want some REAL help for feeling better, give me your symptoms and I will enlist the aid of one of our member's mother, who is an amazing medicine woman shaman with recipes using all-natural leaves, barks, roots, flowers, etc. from all naturally-occurring wild plants.

Having heard of her "miracle medicines" before, I inquired via PM to see if member X knew anything about her. Would you believe it was the member's own mother!!!!

GOOD THINKING!

Yes, me too. This thread is just a break from reality and very tongue in cheek. My wife also tries to go the all natural way. She makes our soaps, lotions, lip balms, and her own make-up. She may be interested in talking with this member's mother, however.

Thanks for your genuine concern Guru!

You both give me great pride in claiming you as two of "mine", Darrin and Beckie!

I WAS sure you were "tongue-in-cheeking" it, which is why I deleted only the original poster's message. That member, by the way, had joined just that same day of the post......and I suspect it was for the purpose of nothing except making the post!

I truly am proud of you both! And intrigued with your wife's endeavors, Darrin! i admire you both.
