HUGS, Patti ----------------------------------- broxi 09.01.2010, 20:01 ----------------------------------- lol thats the bit i do not understand..why the 3 staff that won hall of fame for their months are not included...after all they were member of month before joining staff so should be included or its not really hall of fame for year...also dont want to sound controversial but have been thinking about whole hall of fame thing on and off for while since it was announced...looking at list of names i can see the merits in most of them BUT. and this is the BUT bit lol i dont really see any member that i could class as member of the year...sorry people might not like it or agree but its true...how can i actually say anyone in list above merits picking more than another person as most of them all bring something different to the forum..so in picking one id be saying what they bring is more important than the others...some members are their for posting a lot where others are their for achievements in poker games...others are their for postings in certain topics etc..and basically if a member had only came to forum for one month then never came back they could still make the list and if friends voted they would win(tho thankfully that has not happened this time...lol i know im being negative but on reflection i can not say any member up there deserves to be member of the year more than any other...and in fact theirs a few members not even on the above list that merit it as much so think ill pass on voting...sorry if by saying this it upsets or offends anyone as it is not intented to but you know me i always give an honest opinion on matters ----------------------------------- cocakolakid 09.01.2010, 22:14 ----------------------------------- i kinda do and i kinda don't....but i do lean more to not agreeing with ya broxi...sorry..but here's why...although i wouldn't doubt that any one of the crushers that are now staff could have won the this easily...i believe they chose to come aboard as staff knowing that they would no longer be able to participate in PC/CC contests...moreover...they have been doing a wonderful job in implementing new and exciting ways to make PC better...and this Hall of Fame of the Year is one of them...i have to remember that this a new contest that they came up with for us. Sure...as with anything new...there may be some things to iron out...but sometimes we won't know just what to iron out until we give things a try...it is good that you voiced your opinion and how you feel about it...just as i am voicing mine...so that the team can evaluate it for themselves. However, lest not forget to have fun...what's the point if you are not? this is what makes PC a happy place to come to...i hope it will stay that way.
