I am looking forward to long days at the park, picnicing and swimming, and the evening either at the drive-in with my family or playing games on the computer with my windows wide open. On a Billiards (Pool) League Team ...... When it gets warm I like to get out and take my kids for walks and such. I hope to make it to the beach this summer but I do not think there are any beaches around here lol. ----------------------------------- allight 10.05.2008, 16:50 ----------------------------------- Winter i spend way too much time on the computer playing poker and video games, but i also try to do a lot of projects....this past winter i transfered a lot of videos to DVD. Summer I like being outside with the kid(s). People bring their kids to join mine to swim and play. Enjoy yard work and a some bad gardening. My computer is my life all year round. CC,PC,poker sites and casinos between sleeping and meals. Though lately there have been a lot of family stuff at home going on that is slowing my computer time way down. Come summer my daughter takes the grandkids out a lot more to the beach, sea lion caves, etc so that usually means I have a lot more free time :) ----------------------------------- char1984 10.05.2008, 19:29 ----------------------------------- :D I spent most all winter on the computer and getting health issues taken care of so that I can go and camp out at my moms cabin all summer and still play on my computer and enjoy nature also. ----------------------------------- slotmom 11.05.2008, 12:36 ----------------------------------- In the winter I do most of my home repairs inside , my house is 107 years old and needs some of my tender loving care , which it is getting still to this day .Not quite done with her yet but hopefuly soon. As for the summer my most favorit time of the year is all the great thing I find to do . I love to be out side alot . my yard is filled with flowers and rock gardens . I also have a large veggie garden that keeps me busy . I do alot of canning and freezing of veggies for the winter . I love to take walks and visit with all my friends around my little town . They stop by almost every day to check out my yard and tell me how nice it looks . As soon as it starts to lay, I'm outside with a measuring stick to see how much we're getting. I like to romp and play in it with the kids, then back inside for home made hot cocoa. (which I only learned to make myself this year! lol) In the summer, I'm not really a sun person, I burn super easy, but I love the beach and having bonfires in my yard at night and when it's warm we cook on the grill just about every day. And it's nice to eat outside, also makes cleaning up after the kids alot easier :) Most of all, I like not having to wear a COAT!! ----------------------------------- kaska321 14.05.2008, 22:33 ----------------------------------- I love winter ... its my favorite season. I never like it hot ...lol Since I do live in California , I have to settle for warm winter, but I miss snow and winter fun. Just walking in the snow is consider fun for me. I miss hot coffee in cold days of winter.Coffee isn`t the same in hot weather, specially when you poor a little cognac into your coffee its unforgotten experience :-) ----------------------------------- zonn61 16.05.2008, 00:13 ----------------------------------- There is not much i like in the winter, esp. living in Buffalo, NY...I hate the cold. So I guess the best thing about winter is sitting on the computer. Last winter though my daughter and I went to visit my mom in Irvine California, it was great. Wish I could do that every winter!
