So Close But Yet So Far
-----------------------------------
Well I was playing a tourney at Wingows and was holding my own after a couple rough up and downs but I kept fighting back and made it to level 11. Had a nice pot built up then my straight was beat and Wham I was down from $27,000 to $6000. It was kind of rough but I kept fighting but now that it was 1500 just to ante in I was kind of limping. I did hold on a few more rounds but I finished 25 out 435 entrants. So not too bad since I hadn't played in months and one foolish hand :(

Better luck next time :)

My dear Valeria!

Not so bad AT ALL! In fact, that is very, very good, all things considered!!!

Good enough, in fact, for me to be exceedingly happy and soooooo proud of yet another one of my PC winners!

You know, you don't have to finish #1 every time to be A WINNER! Don't ever forget that!

Valeria, I wish you knew your poker aptitude as well as I do.....and some day soon, YOU WILL!

Your Guru

Very well played Valeria.

don't dwell on your bad beats.
There are positives to be taken from your game.
The fact that you are playing yourself into the last stages of a tourney,
means that if you can do it consistantly enough, and I'm quite sure that you can,
then its not a matter of if, it's more a matter of when you wallop everyone.
