Greetings from your PokerGuru back here at our Poker Classroom! I hope you can gain something new from this post to help your online playing......or at least be reminded of a few things you may have forgotten.

If you play at one online site quite frequently, and for the same average chip limits, it's quite likely that you will start recognizing certain players as you find them at your table quite often. This is A BIG ADVANTAGE for you.

Make a note of their usernames and start watching things like how long they take to play when their turn comes. Is it the same length of time every hand or does it vary?

If it varies, take notes on how good his hand is when he takes longer and how good it is when he acts quickly. You will probably find a pattern! If you do find a pattern, this will give you A REAL ADVANTAGE when playing at the same table with him FROM THEN ON!

Notice also how often he bluffs or attempts to bluff. This info will really help you decide how often to call his hand!

Another important thing to watch for is if there is a pattern to how high or low a bet he usually places. Often you will then learn that if he has a good hand, he will always raise or bet the same amount on it. In turn, he is also likely to bet the same small amount if he is unsure of his hand.

This kind of information is very valuable to you and you should keep short notes on every player whose name you see repeatedly at your table.

Every poker pro will tell you that one of the most important factors determining whether you become a consistent winner is how well you are able to get to know your opponents and their habits.......EVEN ONLINE!

Good thinking and note-taking to you all!

Your PokerGuru

ROFLMBO Mojo!

What a character you are! But tell me: If you are that sexy-minded, and I assume sexually aware, then why are you eliminating half of the world's population from your list of "possible distraction victims"? There are, after all, many ways to distract! Why limit yourself? LOL Be careful what you post to the Guru!!!!!! ROFLMBO again, Mojo! You are a fun member to kid with! As well as a great poker scholar, a good player, and an excellent member!

Thank you for the compliment and the post!

Your PokerGuru
