| Good morning, my PokerCrushers!

I am very, very pleased to present to you today's very special thought.

Our friend and member Valeria says we need these thoughts to help make us better people. And I am ALL FOR ANYTHING that will help do that because our world really needs it at this time.

The following thought is a quote directly from Valeria during one of her more seriously philosophical moments and I am proud to present it to you.

 Your PokerGuru

 Now, quoting Valeria:

I like to remind people to stop and smell a rose, look at a tree and the grass. Remember when you were a kid and lay on the ground imagining what the clouds looked like? We become adults and forget about the simple pleasures of life and nature. We get so caught up in bills and work and stress. When was the last time you actually took a walk for pleasure and looked at the wonders around you? It is so restful to the soul.

| *blush* awww ty Guru. But I know for myself the most soothing thing of all is just sitting in a park or in the mountains watching squirrels, the birds, looking at the leaves on a tree, smelling some flowers.

I have watched the wonder and joy in my grandsons face as I show him a flower, the leaf of a tree... we are so busy we forget they are there. If we can recapture that wonder for a little while ... look at a sunrise, a sunset.. nature is wonderful and we take it for granted.

Sorry didn't mean to go on so much LOL I just think if people took some time if only an hour... and did this they would be amazed at how peaceful it can be.

| ditto dot dont want to type alot, but i wont....wink wink. Guru you did well quoting valeria....them are some good words!!! by the way i praise the trees, especially this time of year, looking at the clouds gets me in predicaments of being made fun of...so what i say...i still look at sky artwork, ask charla i will drag a friend to cut down a huge flower on public property. im not sure of the variety just know it looks like a huge queen anne lace.....i thought i was trippin when i saw it the first time, had to go back and get it, so with my huge knife(machete type) i brought the now my flower home....charla was almost scared that maybe i had flipped.... awesome thought for the day thanks again guru and valeria.

| You are so right, Cindy.

This quote was sure a hit! Congrats to both Valeria and and our Guru.

And I love the way this conversation is going. I have been kinda depressed for no reason lately and these comments have lifted my spirits a LOT!

Let's keep it going. Someone else or the same again people must have some more beautiful thoughts to help us keep our spirits up.
