When I was young, we used to have a pet tortoise. It was a bright February morning and I thought it would be a good idea to disturb 'Speedy' from his hibernation and let him stretch his legs. Unfotunately, I had to go to school till 3 pm and by the time I got home 'Speedy' was frozen solid. I carefully put him back in his box and by the end of June, my mum had given up hope and we buried him in the garden. My mum still doesnt know the truth. Sorry Mum

Have you ever got a spanking or got into trouble over something you never did?? (happens to me lol)

I don't remember what age I was but it was grade school. My mom and brother and I went somewhere in the car. We got home and my brother and I went to play while mom cooked dinner.

We got called back into the house and she was MAD!!

She asked my brother and I who nailed the kitchen cabinets shut!!! I was in shock and I would never have thought of such a thing... well not that I know of but you know kids.

I swore up and down that I didn't do it. My brother swore up and down He didn't do it. We both got a spanking and sent to our rooms.

My brother swears to this day he didn't do it nor did I. Frankly I think it was the kid upstairs or a ghost. ROFL

It is a mystery to this day.

I was kidnapped and held for 2 weeks when I was pregnant with my som onky seventeen years old. L, A, County swat saved me and my son and life went on.

i got too much too tell..ill stay with a sfae one...i was a cheerleader when i was 13..captin too..that was the last thing b4 i got into drinking and drugs as a teen so im pretty proud of that we won first place in a compition..please excuse my spelling as you can see i dropped out of school cant spell worth a crepe..lol,,gl all

There are sooo many things................When I was 11- 12, I took money ($20 to $40 which was alot at the time) out of my moms purse when she came home really drunk, about every 2 weeks.

i've been involved in 7 car crashes - 3 of which were rollovers - one of the rollovers was also involved in a head on collision - in all 7 crashes i was not wearing my seat belt. A couple of minor cuts and bruises was all i suffered for all of them. Even went straight to a hockey game after the one involved in a head-on collision - I had to play...it was the playoffs and I was the goalie - and we won!

The only accident I was at fault was for was my first rollover - I fell asleep at the wheel....the other accidents were not my fault.

When I was a teenager, I had the biggest crush on our garbage man..(it was his dad's business, he was only a few years older than me.) Whenever the truck came buy, I would peek out of the kitchen window. (incidentally, when I was a kid, I was fascinated by the garbage truck, my Pap would hold me up to look out the window when the truck came.) Much later, I wound up working for a garbage company, held various jobs but got my CDL there and drove truck there. I never dated anyone there, had a policy against dating subordinates, but I did date one...we've been married for 10 years now. So you guessed it, I married a garbage man. (well ok he's not now, but he was then Smile

I go way too drunk one night and I decided to get out of bed open the closet door and squat. In the morning my husband told me I was not allowed to drink that much ever again. lol I had no idea that I had even done that.

these are so fun to read. my dad also was a garbage man owned his own business.I went on the routes with him for years mostly to keep him company but i wasnt shy of work and as i grew up i started dumping the cans myself and riding on the side of the truck between stops, was the best time of my life!

something true about me that you do not know.Well,did you know that i am FAT.am about 35 pounds over weight.I can blame it on the computer.ever since i learned the computer i get no exercise.If it wasn't for working i hate to think how big i would be.lol.got 1 more.when i was young my 2 sisters were to watch me and they tried flushing me down the tolit.they put my feet in first and flushed,i was crying and scared.lo.lI was only about 9 years old.

I once drove 200 miles for a date lol ( must have been desperate lol) and I broke down 15 miles from my destination and then had to be towed 185 miles back home. Never rescheduled the date.

OK, this is embaressing but true. I went on a road trip in college (must have been around 20 years ago) with a bunch of friends to Philly. There must have been 20 of us caravanning (sp?) to different destinations along the way and switching cars and all that. I shudder to think how dangerous it all was, I mean the guy driving the car I eventually ended up in actually drove with a fifth of Jack Daniels in his lap! Anyways, I have a very small bladder and I had to stop a lot, and everyone was getting mad about it so about half way in, they refused to stop for me and I really REALLY had to go. So I went in an empty big gulp cup and threw it out the window! I am not kidding! LOL

It makes me sound like a total rotten theif!!

I just want to add that this only went on for 1 summer. At the time I was smoking, drinking, and partying a lot. So, it must have been the summer that I was 13.

See? I was a drunk (that lasted waaaay longer than 1 summer) not simply a theif!! Rolling Eyes

well as i tell anyone what they want to know ive few secrets lol...but heres one...although some people would class me as cold hearted i actually do care for some things in life like poor wee animals and pets( hate some of the cruel things people do to pets)..i regularly donate to charities for sick animals etc tho wouldnt give to charities for humans

I used to have horrible anxiety attacks _I mean I got dizzy, my heart rate went crazy, and couldnt breath - sometimes just driving would wig me out because I would be thinking about everything that could go wrong...I can be a terrible catastrophizer (I just made that word up) Two things really helped - when I felt myself starting to freak out, I would say this little mantra, "you're alright, girl" and secondly, some pretty simple meditation - just listening to my breath with my eyes closed or walking slowly saying, "I am making peaceful steps on the earth" in my head. I guess this may sound silly but it really helped...
