I was just thinking about my answer and it would be "being alone" I really can imagine how you must feel msfilly. I have lived with my daughter and 3 grandchildren pretty much their whole lives. They are 4,7,and 9. We will probably lose the house this year, and then we won't live together any more. I am so sorry for what you must be going through. My thoughts, heart, and prayers go out to you.

For 13 years I lived where in order to visit my Mom and Dad I had a 5 hour flight over the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Crashing in the ocean was a concern but not my main one. I would survive the crash but my scariest concern was meeting "JAWS." Sounds stupid but I wouldn't sleep for days when I would make that flight. Proud to say I have out grown this fear and finally came to the conclusion if the plane crashed kiss it goodbye, period.

My greatest fear also is being alone. I will be moving into my own place within six months or sooner and I have also been living with my daughter and my grandkids. I worry about the youngest (6 years old) as he has always depended on grandma when he gets overwhelmed by his big brother and such. I worry about him more than anyone. I am his protector and. I will like being alone but I don't want to be alone forever.

Wow!! Some very good answers Crushers!! My fear is something terrible happening to my daughter.

I have always feared it, ever since she was little. She is my 1 n' only. I hate to imagine life without her.

I had a friend (an only child) growing up that died at 16. When I'd see his parents after, they always looked so sad. They had a house that faced the only park in the city. I used to imagine them having to hear all the children playing and laughing. Sad Sad It breaks my heart, even now.

I have a story to tell on fears. I had a lot of them but as life goes on you conquer each fear.I lost my home, lost a marriage, lost father, lost grandmother, lost a son, last but least lost my job. The greatest part is God has brought me through it all.

well i guess I should have said I have lots of fears and maybe the one tied with the fear of drowning is the fear of my children getting hurt. I have had dreams a few times of like one of them being hit by a car or something like that. I wake up terrified, and thank god none of these dreams so far have been prophetic
