Hello TPFC members,
This weeks open events will be held at Carbon poker. We have a $100 Freeroll and a $1 buy-in set up for July 12th. These games are open for all members at The poker forum challenge. To view the event passwords visit the link below.

well I cannot play this one. I am trying to buy a house right now so I am not spending any money on gambling really. If this were a freeroll I would gladly play. but I have no funds in that account so maybe I will just come in and watch.

I have sneaked away and gone AWOL from CC and have registered at Carbon Pokeer for both of this evening's tournaments. LOL! I have also encouraged OC to do the same!

OH! Better tell you this: I don't in any way mean to be rude, but I do not/cannot chat while playing poker. I'm glad to chat during breaks. I guess some people are just not multitaskers!

Do you realize how positive and happy this entire thread is?

Just go back a page and read thru the posts again and you will find a group of great close friends who help one another and for whom just being together is fun and makes us HAPPY!

Congrats bower on top 20! Nice run, sable to get 54th. Out early myself, chasing...but had a flush draw, up and down straight draw and an overcard so was over 50% to win a big pot. Thought I'd need that big pot to push Bower around later, but c'est la vie! LOL

Hi Everybody!

I am happy to say that Cake Poker has verified to me that USA players may sign up and play at Cake Poker IF they are also on a poker team playing for a poker forum that is a member of The Poker Forum Challenge (TPFC). THAT IS US, FOLKS!

Their are obviously a lot of advantages to being a member of TPFC as well as being a player on a forum's team. LIKE OURS, FOLKS! lol

I am so glad we finally got signed up with a good league. The only thing that keeps me from being REALLY happy about it is that they do not schedule many games for us.

Therefore, I am reporting to you now that I am once again on the search for another League for us to join in addition to staying with TPFC.

By the way, I noticed the same thing that Royal mentioned in her post earlier in this thread and it makes me very happy and very proud.

There is no way we can be stopped on our climb to capture the championship of all the poker forums, as long as our members continue to encourage and support one another! That is one of the winning secrets of any championship team in any sport anywhere!!! AND.......with our members, WE HAVE IT!
