Okay, gang, here is a chance to win a $30 cash prize:

CARD DECK CONTEST #1

Remember you must have a Neteller certified account to receive your money if you win. Or if you would rather, you can choose to receive instead of the cash, Crusher merchandise of the same value. If you choose the merchandise, you will receive a Poker Crush VIP point for each $25 worth of merchandise you select. Post here and let me know if you need the link to where you can look at all the merchandise we have for you to buy or win.

In addition to the $30 first place prize, there will be other winners in this contest who will receive a random number of PC points, between 100 and 2000 points, for members who come close to winning!

This is all you do to enter:

I have a deck of 52 standard poker cards, no jokers. I have drawn one card and placed it in an envelope labeled CARD DECK CONTEST #1. Post here your guess of which card it is. BE SURE TO GIVE BOTH A NUMBER AND A SUIT. No, not a birthday suit, Mojo. And not a tuxedo, Darrin. By suit I mean Clubs, Diamonds, Spades or Hearts.

Deadline to enter: January 25, 2007 at midnight New York time

No, Valeria, my dear. It simply means the members have to make sure they are on the ball and get their entry in as one of the first 52.

I'd like to make a suggestion too, if I could, that everyone make note of the cards already guessed before posting their own guess, and not repeat anyone's guess. I see this all the time at CC, in the 1-2-3 contests, when someone will guess, say, number 23, and then just 2 posts later, someone else again guesses 23, I assume because they didn't look through the previous guesses first. It irks me because if more than one picks the same number, they award the prize to only one of them, randomly, so that seriously reduces your chance of winning, and that's when you've guessed the right number, so when you would have had a 100% chance of winning, if someone else hadn't guessed it after you! So I always look for a number not yet guessed before I post mine. Hope others will too!
That should streamline things a bit, I hope.

Dear fellow members ~

I really, really, really do not want to seem like I am bossy or telling you what to do, altho I KNOW it might look that way sometimes. I just read EVERYTHING here and have a hard time not making comments here and there.

And I don't know how to tape my fingers shut, like I could my mouth!

So here I go again:

I think everyone should read sunspun's post above mine -- and then the rest from the very top down before you pick your card. That is what I am going to do NOW.
