well i recieved this from another forum.....yet when i went to the registration page.....i found casino-crush and poker-crush listed as choices for forum to represent.....ok here is the ...First step if you don't have a PokerStars account, click here to sign up at PokerStars

Online Forum Challenge Grand Opening Freeroll
co-sponsored by PokerStars on July 8th, 2006 at 3pm EST.
Total Prize Pool: $4,500 ($3,500 added for individual players, $1,000 for winning forums)

Registration:
This is event is open to all online forum members. Pre-registration will open on June 8th at approx. 3pm EST and will close on July 5th at 3pm EST. All participants must pre-register with the following information to be eligible to play in this event: with the following information to be eligible to play in this event:

1. The EXACT User Name used to register your player account on PokerStars (participants are urged to double check for any capitalization, punctuation, and/or spaces, if they are allowed in user names at the host site).

2. The email address used to register your player account on PokerStars.

3. Select XXXXX as the forum you would like to represent. Participants must choose from the list of forums on the drop down list in Step 2 of pre-registration.

PokerStars will remit one ticket to your account after your valid pre-registration on OFC. This ticket will allow you to register for this event 24 hours before the start of the tournament. NOTE: You WILL NOT be automatically registered to play in this event. Each eligible participant must register in the PokerStars Tournament Lobby before the tournament starts.

Individual Prize Pool of $3,500:
Prize pool will be distributed amongst the top 45 individual players.

Forum Prize Pool of $1,500 will be distributed as follows:
1st Place Forum wins a $450 Private Tournament on PokerStars
2nd Place Forum wins a $250 Private Tournament on PokerStars
3rd Place Forum wins a $150 Private Tournament on PokerStars
4th Place Forum wins a $100 Private Tournament on PokerStars
5th Place Forum wins a $100 Private Tournament on PokerStars

Forums will be scored as follows:
The winning Poker Forums will be determined by adding the total cumulative points earned by their respective members. Only the top 45 players will earn points for their respective forums in this event. Points will be earned in reverse finish method plus bonus points as follows:

1st Place Individual earns 5 bonus points for their forum.
2nd Place Individual earns 4 bonus points for their forum.
3rd Place Individual earns 3 bonus points for their forum.
4th Place Individual earns 2 bonus points for their forum.
5th Place Individual earns 1 bonus points for their forum.

Therefore 45th place would earn 1 point for their forum, 44th would earn 2 points, etc. 1st place earns 45 points plus 5 bonus points for a total of 50.

OFC will handle all forum scoring aspects and all OFC decisions are final. All individual and forum prizes will be distributed by PokerStars.

Terms and Conditions:
a. Your pre-registration will not be valid and you will not be eligible to play in this event if you submit the incorrect User Name, an invalid email address, or a website that does not have an active online forum.
b. Only one pre-registration is allowed per person. Violation of this rule is grounds for invalid pre-registration, disqualifacation, and/or revocation of prizes, money, and/or forum points.
c. You may only select one forum to represent per event, and once selected, your choice is final.
d. Each OFC event you wish to play requires sererate pre-registrations. This method gives players the option to represent different forums, should they wish to.

this kinda confused me , so i thought id bring it to attention atleast. not sure of the link which would be used.....couldnt post the link in which i used, for i believe it would be considered something like an affiliate or such not sure, so anywho.... i just know its

WooWooo thanks for the heads up on this notLOL! I just sent a pm to Geno, DrCrush and PokerGuru.

I'm heading there to sign up now before I forget and hopefully I'll remember 24 hours before the tourney to register at poker stars. lol

ok charla....did you register to play in the challenge? you need to register with online forum challenge. thats the link up inthe first post in this thread. when registering you will chose poker-crush in the pull down, where it asks you which forum you will be playing for......

i already registered.

For what it is worth ---- I AM ALL FOR THIS IDEA OF POKER FORUMS CHALLENGING EACH OTHER AT THE TABLES!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL POKER CRUSHERS PARTICIPATE!

I can also personally recommend Poker Stars as one of the very best poker sites at which beginners can win both games and tourneys.

OKAY, GUYS! READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!!!

On my way to sign up to help us form our own Poker-Crush Poker Team!

Will sign up at www.onlineforumchallenge.com and I am already a member at PokerStars. At the moment, Poker Stars is my favorite site to play poker. I always seem to win more there, so don't have to re-deposit.

But I am really much more excited about us having our own PC Poker Team. I am willing to bet we could even have some shirts made up with PC Poker Team on them if I put a word in Orangie's ear and she puts a word in PokerGuru's ear and he puts a word in Geno's ear.

Hummm you never know, just kidding. lmaooo

Just before Geno and I went to the CAC conference in Vegas last September I went down and had some real sharp t-shirts made for both of us, black shirts with red silk embroidery on them, it pays to advertise right? hehee

Anyway, whilst I'm passing the idea on, what do you think about possibly having some T-shirts made up and giving them away as prizes for contests or possibly prizes for some zip contests? Please let me know your thoughts.

Well I went over there to try out the software and joined a tourney for funsies.... I am not sure I can play much there.. I had a terrible time with lag and being disconnected Sad

Well thought of going RedHotMamma LOL probably not available but I was picturing these macho guys seeing a "Granny" at the table and thinking "Now HERE is a SOFT touch." and then kicking their butt LOL I was having all sorts of private giggles at picturing this.

Needless to say I have my weak moments of dry humor that amuses me. ROFL

Also I don't get hit on .. gee I wonder why? hahahahaahah

The other night some guy was following me table to table telling me he loved me and wanting to pat my legs. (This was a place I play where my name IS valeria lol) so having a Granny in my name helps in that way too! Psychological fun stuff Razz

Hi Valeria ~

I'm not sure which site you were talking about here, but you should have NO problems with lag or disconnects or anything else if it was Poker Stars. They are a great, fair, honest site in my opinion, and I play there a lot.

Try uninstalling and then downloading and installing AGAIN. Your balance and other records will still be the same when you log back in. (Just don't sign up again.)
