I am so excited about this January contest! Not due until the last day of FEBRUARY to give you extra time to do a good job you can be proud of! No feeling quite that good!
For 2009, Poker-Crush needs its own calendar! To be put up in its own section of the forum and posted so it can be run off on paper by all members for their homes! The one on the site, I will be able to write things in, so the boxes for each day have to be big enough to give me room to write large enough that you can read it!
The reason we need a calendar is because we are getting soooo busy with different projects, poker tournaments, voting days, new event openings, and so on.
It would be nice to have a big picture on each month's page, just like real calendars - maybe something to do with poker, maybe not.
The Contest: DESIGN OUR CALENDAR! Use a ruler and be very neat! Use pictures you find or draw yourself! Or if not a picture on every month, then a "saying" on a few months!
Right now, I have to keep referring to the little old dingy calendar in my checkbook, because I post to you from everywhere in my travels on my laptop! In restaurants, hotels, casinos, airports, on planes, and everywhere! I have even posted to you right there at the poker table during a slow player's turn in a pro game!
Post below if you are going to enter this contest......and I hope EVERY member does and makes it fun!
Prize will be $30 .... not necessarily for the best one which we will use, but for anybody who enters and makes an honest effort to do your BEST!
We MIGHT even have 2 X $30 prizes since this is such a big contest!
Make it able to have a picture taken of it that you can post for us to see! Or that someone can post for you!
The rules are the same as for EVERY contest!

You may use Photoshop if you wish, but it is not necessary. You can just make a LONG post (tehee), in which you draw lines to make the squares for the days in your calendar.
To put a picture at the top half of your calendar, you might want to use Photoshop. OR you could just type in a good quote or saying instead of using a picture.
NOW do you understand why my posts have to be so long? So people like you will understand them!!! LMBO!

How many, besides me, CAN see them? What operating system do YOU have?
Are you who cannot see them up-to-date on everything like Adobe Reader and Java and Windows Updates?
Mojo ------- A Tip: If you download and join the free Photobucket and transfer all your pictures there to store them in albums, it is easy to move them from Photobucket to wherever you want them.

The top half of her calendars are neat little columns of Guru's recommended best starting hand cards. White fonts on black background.

This issue with not being able to see the posted attachments should now be fully sorted (you'll finally be able to see all the older things people posted too) as well as any future ones.
Sorry it took me so long to find the issue but it was due to 'forum permissions' - something historically set when the board was set up and just never came up before.
