Hi to my PCers!

Here is a November cash contest for you:

November is Thanksgiving month. Post a list of things you can truly be thankful for this year.

Winner will be chosen by drawing from names of everyone who enters. Prize will be $30 cash.

Deadline: Last day of November.

Make sure you have 3000 PC points to redeem for cash prize.

Recheck your profile page to make sure your occupation and interests are filled in.

Be sure to include poker site banners in your post. Mel3 or ojisplayin will help you with this.

Good Luck to all who enter! I wonder who will have the longest list!!!!!

top on the list is thankful for my children but the rest I have to think about since there is soo much

I am always thankful for being one of Gods children and having all these wonderfull family and friends he has given me all through out my years . And being a member here and at casino crush I get more friends each and every day ty .

I am thankful for my healthy family,husband,kids and grandkids and I am thankful for god leading me in time in the last year to the doctor and finding my pancreas cancer and the knowledge of another to be able to go from being ready for a wheel chair to walking with no pain, and I am very thankful for finding pc and cc as this has helped me through alot of recovery the last year... Very Happy

I am thankful for my partner who has stuck strong with me during tough times.

My best mate of 30 odd years passed suddenly recently and life just hasnt been the same.

I will also add my brother to the list for similar reasons due to him knowing my mate shane as well.

life just must go on.

to be honest im just thankful to be living and having a family thats healthy and well....theres many things in life id like to have but maybe one day ill get some of them but no matter how hard life gets we just have to remember there are many people worse of and be thankful for what we have in life

I am thankful for :

Being able to love and be loved. Greatest feeling in the world.
I am thankful I have a mind to think and ponder the wonders of the world, whether it be nature, people and life in general.
I am thankful I can see the beauty around me and taste, touch, smell and hear.

Many people have lost or never had one of these blessings so I am grateful I have them all and if I lose one or more of these I will still be thankful I had them when I did.

I am thankful I have a beautiful family. Though there may be sickness, money worries and many of the trials we are given through life, I am thankful that I at least HAVE a family. Some don't and are very alone in the world.

And I am thankful for the gift of life. Both having one and giving birth.

It may not be all you may wish for, but if you got everything you wish for where would the spice be in your life - the drive to better and improve yourself.

And I am thankful I found the best forums CC,PC and though not there much BC with the greatest people!

I'm thankful for my relatively good health,
for my friends
and my family, especially my wonderful mother and father who I only wish knew how much I loved them,
and for my long-suffering boyfriend, who puts up with way too much from me,
and for the beautiful home of his that I have to live in,
and for my adorable dogs and their undying love,
and for this box of Kleenex beside me,
and finally, I'm thankful for my computer, without which I'd never have discovered CC and PC, which provide me hours of amusement and help and occasional fattening of my Paypal account!

i am thankful for everything that has happened in my life, as i look back and see all the stupid things that i did when i was younger i am much wiser now than i was back then and ( try ) to relay that info to my children as much as they do not want to hear it they still love me for me!

I complain alot but I am thankful for so many things... For my husband and my three children, for my good job, for my nice home, for my family.. I'm also very thankful for the time that radiation has given to my mom and thankful for every day that I can talk to her and see her... I'm also thankful for my extended family here at PC and CC..and I could go on but I think this is a good place to leave off...

my mom and dad and I shouldered out to anyone in the family but because we shoulder to ride in my dad's car then was in the piece so we had to do it at home and be laws to which many of the family so it become a good evening

Hello to my sentimental PCers,

I could tell by your entries that most of you took this contest as it was intended to be taken --- seriously and in a quietly contemplative mood, with both your hearts and your minds involved in it.

Life is such a hurry-hurry existence in the twenty-first century. People push and shove when walking and honk their horns and make obscene gestures when driving.

I believe it would be a so much better place and time to live if we all just forced ourselves in the beginning to get started the daily practice of taking time outs for ourselves. Using them to come to terms with all that is, both good and bad. Thinking how we can make the best of it all, for our own sakes but also for the sakes of those whose paths we cross in this life.

I suggest we each ask ourselves at least once a week, this question, and take a long hard look at the answer that will come to us: The question to contemplate is: Are other people better off for having me as a small or large part of their lives......or are they not?

If the answer is yes, you have something deep inside you that you were born with - and that you should be very thankful for.
