LOL! Thanks, both Bower and Shawn!

I wouldn't know if I received notification because I am about 2 weeks and 2000 emails behind! Keep reminding myself that I MUST make time to check it! Sure hope there are no funeral, birth, or wedding announcements in there!

It is such a shame that our Canadians, some of our best players, cannot play at Bodog because they are one fantastic site!

Bodog is one of those "Got everything and everything is big!" sites. I highly approve of it for slots players and other casino game or sports fans, as well as for poker players!

I have great respect for Bodog's owner, who has been playing cat and mouse with government agencies in a very admirable way ever since the US ban.

PCers, if you can play in this one (either of them) TOMORROW.....DO IT! I think you will like the Bodog site and I will try to get a banner.

Dear Shawn,

There is no way I can get the banner in time for the tourney.

In fact, it takes quite a while to get anything done with a huge site such as Bodog. I'm pretty sure they have a regular advertising agency or PR firm that I will have to go thru.

So go ahead, if you wish, and use the link, since this is an exception for the sake of our team.

Ok I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but don't deposit here for now. USA govermont seized over $25 million dollars from them. Also they are not doing payouts at the moment last I heard.

Check out APCW video on Utube for August 15th.
This could have changed since Friday but I doubt it.
If you follow APCW check the last few videos for August (especially the latest ones.

Quote: › the US Governments pusuit of Bodog and Calvin Ayre, and how PayPal is going to turn over customer records to the Feds.

Anyway just a warning folks. If you haven't done so you should join APCW which gives you all the latest gaming news on what is going on with gambling online and the USA government.

The address for APCW is http://apcwinteractive.ning.com/

Join up and you get your own page to blog, meet fellow gamblers and all that good stuff!

I have to make a clarification here.. they seized $25 million from some of Bodogs payment facilities not Bodog themselves. But FBI is after Bodog or some of it's leaders.

Please be careful and check it out before depositing and watch Aug 15th video from APCW. They are our gambling watchdog.

Right you are, Valeria. A good organization and good advice as well.

I guess the feds are trying to get the Bodog owner cornered. He has been evading them and allowing US players to play for a long time now.

I imagine he is afraid to make payouts at the moment because of the seriousness of exchanging money if the US government is that close to trapping him.

This makes me very sad because Calvin Ayre is one of the good guys and has always stood up for online gamblers as well as always treated them right if they gambled at Bodog.

I am going to make a small deposit there and see what I can find out personally for myself.
