Hi Poker Crushers, I just received the below email from TPFC. I hope to see you there!!!

Hello TPFC members,

On July 19th we will be having two more open events this time at Cakepoker. The first game will be a $150 freeroll followed by a $1 buy-in with $50 added. Please download Cakepoker from the forum you play for! The events passwords are posted at the link below.

But that is nothing new. I am not exactly known for speed!

And, OC ----- I would MUCH rather have too many posts about a League tournament than not enough!

It would be so nice if EVERYBODY showed up for this one!

And guess what! To finish in the top 20 at your very first tourney is phenomenal! We will be looking to you to help our team move ahead in the rankings!

Way to go! Just don't let the bad beats and the fish out there get you down! Nobody can win all the time! If they could, we wouldn't be gamblers, would we?

Broxi, thank you for heads-upping Shawn! That is another great demonstration of teamwork!

Proving once again that my PCers know the full meaning of "team"! And that is why the Poker Crush Poker Team will one day be the champions of all the poker forums on the internet who have teams, a few dozen of them!

Also, thanks again to OC and to our team captain, Bower, for bringing the upcoming tournament on the 19th to our attention!

This one will be a lot of fun, because any member of the forums who have teams, will be welcome and allowed to sign up and play! No pre-qualifying necessary. So I hope as many of our forum members who possibly can, will play at this one. We don't care if you are just beginning and expect to get your butt kicked! We just want you there to learn and for the experience to get you used to it!

And if any beginner - or advanced player, for that matter - gets their butt whipped, we just hope you will be able to laugh with us about it. Because we WILL laugh at you! While at the same time we will be respecting you for having the guts to step up to the table for your forum!!!!!!!!!

like ive said before im not great but i love to play and it made me feel good
im still looking for other crushers so if your name is different in pitbull and you see me please yell at me im loving it

This gives me cause for concern, but I have never heard of it.

One thing I know is that WE WANT VALERIA PLAYING WITH US AND FOR PC AT THIS TOURNAMENT!

Anyone else having a problem, please post it!

Valeria, we are anxiously waiting for your reply and hope your problem is now resolved. If it is not, I WILL CONTACT THEM and see if I can get you in manually!

PCers, WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE ALL PCers AT THIS EVENT! Everyone at PC is eligible. Our great poker team has paved the way for everyone to be able to take part!

There will be fewer players to defeat at the tournament following the freeroll! It will cost you to play, but only $1. (I am not sure what the minimum deposit is at Cake Poker, but will find out for you. Whatever it is, you could easily win it all back at ths tourney!)

Shawn, when you sign in at Cake Poker, look for Private Tournaments and this one is an Open TPFC tournament.

If that is not enough info, please post here again. I am going right now to check it out myself for you.

I just tried to download Cake Poker and after it downloaded 77%, I received this message: Internet Explorer cannot dowload FullcakeSetup.1.0.100.exe from ckpn.cachefly.net. The connection with the server was reset.

I played at Cake poker a long time ago, I'm not sure if it was on this computer or the one before, but I've been having issues with this computer for a couple of days, I'll keep trying.

DON'T call or make too many bets. Everybody is still guilty of not folding often enough! There will be better hands coming for you to play unless it is very close to the end of the tournament.

NO ALL-INs FIRST HALF OF TOURNEY unless you have a Royal Flush or 4 of a kind pretty certain!

You are welcome, OJ, and remember this: The more often you fold, the more next hands there will be!

We professional poker players fold about 3/4 of all hand we get!

TIP: Never bet or call based on what you MIGHT get! Base it only on what you ALREADY HAVE IN YOUR HAND!

Chances are you will not get what you need dealt to you!

Well not playing poker for awhile I was nervous. I have $13000 and got killed on the river by trip 7's... (had him beat till then) and it knocked me down to $3000..
But I went on to win a few more but eventually I went out at # 87 so not too bad for being a rusty old goat ROFL

I got to sit at the same table with OC for about 3 seconds but she was BRB Pfttttttttttttt

Saw someone say hi to char but didn't see her at the table under char so dunno if was PC char or not LOL

BTW I was Lady Ace Smile

Well, gang, I'm out.

I finished at #41. Won 60 cents! LOL I'm happy!

I played as DaPlaya#1

I was at table with Bower for about a minute.

Then with OC for about 3 minutes.

Then with ojisplayin for about 5 minutes or a little more.

OJ did well! She finished at #38 I think it was. I will call that right in there with me. LOL!

I had a blast! Really fun! Thank you, Guru. But I did lose when I went All-In.

However, the blind would have eaten me up if I hadn't and I did have.......well, I don't remember what I had......but it wasn't too bad. I thought I could win the hand with it, whatever it was. LOL! Wrong!

But better than last tourney, so I am happy!

I tried playing but I was only going on 3 hours of sleep the night before and was exhausted. I should have know better. Oh well there will be other tournies and I hope to have been allowed to get enough sleep when they come around.

Hey PCers! I am still waiting to hear how everybody did!

Please don't let how you did keep you from posting it! At least post and say you played....if you did..... even if you don't want to disclose how you finished. Sable did!

I usually have special arrangements with the site that allows me to watch each of you, so I will know where you need the most help and know what kind of lessons to prepare next. But last night, I had an important game of my own, in which I did fairly well but was no star by any means!

Royal and OJ ---- Way to go, you two! Good playing! VERY good!

Broxi ------- I hate it, too, that our times are so different, buddy!

Sable ------- Bad break, hun, about your sleep. But at least you learned you cannot play on tilt, no matter what the reason!
