CONTEST One-eyed faces WINNER ANNOUNCED!

My dear PCers,

Again I have to say I am so sorry to have been dragged away from you again, right when we were getting a good start
on some issues. But this time I cannot blame the Poker League. It was the death of a favorite uncle of mine, who lived
about 3000 miles away. His large family was spread all througout the country, so the gathering of family turned out to
be a rather large and long event.

Let me start out once again, now, with the first item on my list being another $30 contest for August.

This is a simple one and again, you will be able to see one another's posted answers. Each of you must handle that
however you choose to handle it.

Then, next, I plan to post two or three quick but hopefully interesting pieces.

And then, we will get back to another lesson about playing poker online for a living and what it takes to do it. I might
add that I am happy to see more of you making impressive progress in earning money at the tables. You can bet a
bunch of other players are by now taking notes on you; that is, if they haven't already memorized their notes taken
earlier and now know they will have a challenge on their hands if you are at the table. Amazing how fast a good
player's name becomes known to so many.

Don't feel insulted if players leave a table when you sit down. Instead, feel respect for them for knowing what they
should do, which is to seek another table with players more closely matched to their own abilities.

Back to the contest, since I seem to be trying to get the cart ahead of the horse:

For this contest, just post your answer to this simple question......Which face cards have only one eye showing?

Remember, you must have 3000 PC points to redeem for your $30 prize cash to Neteller, or to wherever we finally get
worked out for U.S. players. If you do not have 3000 points, you will receive 3000 points instead of the cash, so you
will have them for the next contest you win.

Deadline is the last day of August.

The winner will be drawn from the names of everyone who had the right answer. All possible winners' names will be
placed in my wooden humidor (for cigarettes, not cigars), and the winner will be drawn at random.

In THIS case, I may wish Good Luck to you! Which I do!

Hi,
Sorry about your Uncle. When my Great Grandpa died it was very hard
for everyone in our family because he too was probably everyones
favorite relative. He was one terrific person, and such a character! Always
fun to be around him. He could and would always make you laugh and
feel good the whole time, every time you were hanging around him. I
lived with my Grandma, (his Daughter) when I was a young kid and they taught
me how to play poker. I really like to remember times like that.
Anyway,... keep your chin up guy, and thank you for the contest. Thumbup

My deepest sympathy in your loss, Guru....I know how special my grandparents were to me and how much I still miss them years after they've been gone, but I sure do treasure all my fond memories and thank my parents for all the time they let me spend with them growing up.

Thank you all for the great turnout for the contest and thank you, most of all for the good wishes and shared memories. Sharing is a big part of what we here at Poker-Crush are all about and that is probably the biggest thing that makes us different from all other forums.....our closeness as a second family.

Thanks Guru...I know I haven't been posting much lately, but renovations and work (employment!) have me tapped out time wise! I will be honing my skills by looking over past lessons though. I have an invitation to the Party Poker $15,000 freeroll, and would love to take a little chunk of that change home with me. I received the invitation by attaining Ace Level in their Party Points program! Wish me Good Thinking and Great Patience!!
