Poker Guru Lessons (archive) - Guru's Info about PCers & 3D Poker PokerGuru - 07.01.2007, 19:06 Post subject: Guru's Info about PCers & 3D PokerInfo about 3D Poker site
It really bothers me, to the point of being extremely concerned, that some of our very best PC members, whom I expect to be the first string best of our poker team, are unable to access the playing site that I, also, consider to be the easiest internet site at which almost all players of the ability level of the majority of my members, can win and win and win and make a good bit of money before they even think about turning pro.
In fact, it bothers me so much that I am in the middle of composing a letter to the owner of the site, to see if something can't be done on his end to make it possible for him to get more sign-ups, which is in his best interest. Of course, MY concern is the best interest of Poker Crushers. But it would be a win-win situation.
But before I conclude my letter, I really do need some information from you members, some of which I will share with 3D, some of which I will not, but do need to know in order to serve you best and most.
So, PCers, please let me know, either by posting here or by PM, whether or not your computer is able to download and install The 3D Poker site -- and also if it is able to let you play at a reasonable speed after installing. You may have to play at the free tables a bit to know the last one....the working speed issue. I say the free tables because I need to know this, even from you who choose not to play at this site for whatever reason that is none of my business.
I need to know from ALL the members about your computers, so I will know which sites to try to set up special deals for PCers with. Also to include in my letter to 3D, to see if they can make any adjustments on their end.
So please, ALL members, let me know some info about your computers, so I won't be working blind, and so I can do the best job for you.
Orange Crush has graciously agreed to work on this with me.
So altho we have to work quickly on this, to be ahead of the other poker teams, we prefer to wait a bit untill we have all the info about your computer systems, so we can get the best for you.
I just hate it that some of you have not been able to get 3D on your computers...SO FAR!
I will anxiously be waiting for your input, by post to help other members more, or by PM if you would rather keep it private.
Thank you very much.

As OC and you know I can't download it.Their instructions for fixing didn't work either. My brother is a computer programmer and I'm trying to work it out with him. It's tough via the internet tho.
CD poker and Jungle have lotsa private tournies.I play in weekly ones at Jungle. It's a smaller site but I love it.
I sure hope I get to play with my fellow PCers.

What computer system are you running, bower? Would the Dell drivers help us windows 98ers? Being a mac guy who only uses PC to gamble, hate to invest money in big upgrades. Thanks

I have Windows 2000 on my Dell laptop.3D won't work on 98.
I read somewhere that 3D would download an older version for
for older systems. You would have to talk to them about that.
I don't know if there are new drivers available for the 98.
My brother is at work and he's the programmer,I just follow his instructions.
Good Luck Al
