They say that , "Variety is the spice of life". That is my feelings with poker. I like to play HORSE tournaments because you play Hold Em, Omaha, Razz, Stud and Omaha Hi-Lo for a set length of time, in that order. And continue with that rotation for the duration of the tourney. It is a good way to get a feel for which variation of Poker you are the best playing, too.

I enjoy play "Bang" a typical card game where everyone gets 5 cards, and then one person plays a card, then the next person lays down a card. If its the same card as the other player they say bang and lose a certain amount of money. (Typically, we start out with putting up 5 dimes) ANd it continues til someone ends up with at least one of their dimes left will win the pot.

me , my ex husband and my brother ian used to make up our own games . like 7 card stud roll your own with one eyed jacks wild or 7 card stud Mexican style lol no peek where u would have 3 cards to the side and 1st would be wild , than an extra card and than a out card lol. you could have a winning hand but get an out card on last flip and bam ur out lol. when the family gets together we always play rummoli ,i like it cause there is more than one winner per game,the game can last as long as you want.
