Ok I am in a tourney...I was doing really well at the moment. Feeling stoked..

The cards are dealt.. I have a pair of Aces... I thought great start! I put in little raise.. not enough to scare anyone off - just to let them know I had something in my hand worth playing....

The flop is dealt. NICE! One Ace and 2 Kings! I had a high ranking full house! Aces over Kings. I went all in. I was called. I thought poor guy he doesn't know what I have.. even if he had 3 kings he is going to lose or a full house of kings over aces if he had Ace King in his hand...

Everyone else is folded.. I am not worried as the turn and river come around.

I thought hey I might even pull 4 Aces..

Well.. what are the odds... the other guy had 4 KINGS!!!!

My 2 aces.. the turn making it a full house.. and he had a pair of kings in his hand!!!

Needless to say.. I was out of the tourney... LOL

Oh, Valeria! I am so sorry, honey! A lot of jokes are made about people saying, "I feel your pain", but in this case I DO because....(are you ready?)..... this is exactly the way I was knocked out of the WSOP!!! Not only is it painful, but the pain really HURTS!

As it turned out, it wouldn't have made any difference this time in the amount of money you lost, but as your Guru I must ask you why in the world would you want to let them know you had ANYTHING that close to the beginning when you raised.....even if it was just a little bit. I would never raise THEN when I am holding a pair of Aces. Wouldn't want to even HINT that I had ANYTHING!

Nevertheless, I honestly, really do hurt for you, knowing exactly what you feel!
