Way to go, DrCrush!
The more tourneys you are able to negotiate for us, the better! Especially for poker scholars who faithfully practice everything in their notebooks from my poker lessons. The experience is so good for them and it also gives them that chance of surprising themselves by walking away with some loot!
NEW MEMBERS ~ Please accept my personal invitation to participate in the discussions -- mostly questions and answers -- following each of PokerGuru's POKER LESSON #___. Don't worry that you will be behind everyone else and have to catch up. I try to design the lessons to meet the needs of everyone from beginner to expert (and we have some of all divisions). You can jump in and start reading my lessons at ANY point and gain much, because I try not to make any lesson depend on the one before it.
So WELCOME. NEW MEMBERS!
A CAUTIONARY WARNING TO MY POKER SCHOLARS ABOUT THIS TOURNEY: Just because you can buy more chips if you lose all of yours quickly IS NO EXCUSE FOR BEAKING THE STEADFAST rules you have already learned. REMEMBER: There will always be a few who are able to buy in more often than you, SO TURN THAT INTO YOUR ADVANTAGE this way: Let them continue adding chips to the pot as they buy more; let them think they can buy the victory! In the meantime, you just relax and play your Regular game as you play all games, remembering the chances are better that they are building up the pot for YOU than for themselves!
They tend to TILT BACKWARDS from playing on the tips of their toes, while YOU keep your wits about you and watch them fall right over 80% of the time! (called the big tumble).
Best of memory of your knowledge of the game!

But I am one of those stubborn and hard-headed women. LOL I would rather play and at least try to win their money by paying my own way with my own money.

Well Done to you and you are looking like a pro now...lol
I apoligise to all over the fact that 2 games were listed versus just the buy in game. This was a small error and the buy in game will be re scheduled in the near future .
