<center>Our second contest for October will have multiple winners for PC points. </center>

<center>please post-- What are your BEST suggestions on ways to promote Poker-Crush????.</center>

<center>RULES</center>

All members making a post will be placed into a random drawing, where we will be giving away 1 x 10,000 PC points prize.

There will be spot prizes given to ideas that are implemented right away.... of 5,000 PC points.

You may post more than once, but please limit your responses to 3 per post.

This contest will end on October 23rd, 2009.

Well, besides the obvious of postng banners on other poker sites and banners here being very friendly to new guests and helping members. Once they come here we need to keep them here and soon they will be happy to join our family.

We have plenty to offer new people and it won't take them but one or two visits to become a member.

well way i look at it is pc is great with plenty to offer and loads of great features and i think poker table will eventually bring more people....hardest bits getting more people to visit regularly..but some people are more interested in competitions and prizes(which there is more than enough of)so what about combining some of the competitions with casino crush(which gets a lot more daily visits) so that only way people can enter them is if they complete the part over their and on here meaning it mike bring in more people like birthday competitions did(as a few of the members we now have regularly would not have been here if it wasnt for those competitions)

Good idea broxi.#1 I think the best way to promote is word of mouth.Am sure e1 plays at other sites.They can find out in chat who likes poker and than either send them a private message or an email with a link to here.#2 you could put poker crush on facebook, twitter,my space or you tube. Smile

I was referring to SPAM in itself like spam mail and/or links -
(no connection with Facebook etc)

I wouldn't want PC to be looked upon as one those sites that spams everyone just to get hits.

If we could get someone in a televised game to wear a PC shirt or cap...I'm sure the cost to sponsor someone would be ridiculous, but if we could get someone to voluntarily wear something to promote PC that would get the word out. (I know, easier said than done but it's a thought anyhow Smile

members need to get friends and family to join and just as importantly get them active in the forum, that seems to be the hardest part, but I will keep encourage those who I've got to join up get more active

I think we could invite poker forums once or twice a week to play in a tournament with Poker Crushers at our new poker table!! Not only would it bring in people who are poker enthusiasts but would keep our poker playing sharp! I think it would be a blast!

Like Bee's poker forum - she has done a lot for Poker Crush to get it off the ground. Her people could come for a free tourney (or paid tourney) once a week. Also any other poker forums. I am sure plenty of their forum people would stick around here too once they got a chance to look around. Not to mention good input from their poker players!

We can also put posts on CC to attract new poker players if we had some fun Free trournies. If they are unsure of their playing a free trouney would be just the thing to get their feet wet.

Advertising our Poker room on a bunch of forums would also attract new people who love to play!

I just thought you might want to know.Our local news mentions twiiter all the time and that there is an advertisement for them on regular t.v stations.I don't really remember what it was lol i only seen it once so far.but you can't get any better at advertising than t.v.I don't know if twitter is full of spam or what eles but they are very popular.ty:)

How about asking sponsors fif they would add a forum link on their site. Also word of mouth seems to be a grass roots way of advertising which has proven to work.

I think we could make the banner that we post elsewhere should have a lot of pizazz to it. Something that people couldn't help but notice it. I don't know a lot about graphics, but I know that certain things really draw people in. I think if someone is impressed at all with the banner, they assume that they will be impressed with the site that is being advertised. That is my opinion anyway.

i think that twitter is a good idea, although some people think it is spam it is a really great tool. you follow people that are truely interested in poker and twit the threads that you want to put out. If people really want to follow your topics and really are interested they will follow : )
