Honey, I wish there was something I could say or do to ease your pain, but, baby, I'm afraid it is a pain you will carry with you always.
It will lessen a bit with time. You can help time make it easier by making some kind of memorial to your baby. Don't try to hide from the pain; it is impossible. But remember all the good things and with time, you will be able to smile when you remember them instead of crying. I promise.

I'm so sorry Char for your loss.Like we have discussed many times our pets are part of the family.Time eases the pain but the memories will always be there.

I am so sorry Char. I know the pain and sobbing my eyes out as I held them when they were put down. It does ease over time and you will remember all the good times.
Funny how when you lose a pet you only remember the good times because frankly there are never bad times when you have a faithful loving companion that loves you unconditionally.
Now you can think of (him/her?) rolling around in the grass on sunny days with their tongue lolling around in happiness.! And as a faithrul companion they will be waiting at the golden gates to greet you with tail wagging.
