Hello to my loyal followers, the mighty PCers!

Here is your first "thinking hard" contest for April.

Thanks to Bower for the idea, as his entry in last month's contest.

Simply post below why you are a member of Poker Crush.

Since new ideas may come to you during the month as you think about it, you may add on to your entry by adding more posts about it. I will put all of each individual's posts together as one at the end of the month.

Everyone who enters is eligible for the $30 prize.

My hope is that you will learn more about yourself as you think about everything that makes you remain a loyal PCer.

Don't be afraid to open up at THIS place!

RULES:

You must have 3000 earned PC points to redeem for a $30 cash prize. If you come up short, you will receive 3000 PC points instead of cash, so you will have them next time!

You must have informed us of how you wish to be paid, by filling out the form titled "My Payment Method", found at the top of every page.

Winner(s) will be determined by the use of a blind drawing box, into which names of participants will be placed. The box has a built-in stirrer which mixes the names and a built-in propellant which shoots out the name(s) of the winner(s). Yes. I, Guru, am the architect of this super-fair contraption, which I call The Winners Box.

Why am I here? I started out as a casino-crush member. When poker-crush opened I was at first a bit skeptical of being taught how to play better poker online but after reading just 1 of Guru's lessons ( which showed me something I did not know) I immediately put PC in my list of favorites to visit many times a day. When chat started, I knew this was a good idea. Especially, being able to get answers to questions in real-time. Now, chat answers are about many things, from the havoc being done by mother nature to (you guessed it) poker questions. When I was asked to be secretary, at first I was afraid I wasn't up to the challenge. But as time has went on, I have found the challenge to be enjoyable, but no less challenging every week, as chat is different every week. When something prevents me from being at chat Tuuesday evenings, I feel as if there is something important missing from my day. Well, I had no intention of writing a book, but there just is no simple way to answer the question "Why am I here?"

well believe it or not im here to check out gurus lessons and learn as much about poker as possible( i know sometimes it might not look like it but believe me ive been through and read every related item in the archives a few ties)... but i also like reading the posts from all the great members whom most i know from our sister sites and basically as ojis says above to meet new people and also to access the tournaments and play poker when i can fit it in

well, what a great contest, i'm anxious to read all the entries, & on to why i'm here Smile

i started out just wanting to play some poker, then i found the games, omg i got addicted lol, i was playing a lot at CC but moved on over here.......now the reason i'm here is to help add a little comfort hope & love to the great members of PC, i've never felt more at home anywhere than here, yes, i'm a member at almost every poker forum there is & i even have my own & a few poker blog sites as well, but PC is my home & it will remain so til the end of time, i've found comfort here & i love offering up comforting thoughts.......so with that being said, i hope you all have a great day & love to all Smile

Well I am here and I am always here lol as I love the members(my second family)the lessons,the Guru and the rainbow moments.I love that a forum can also be a place to vent,brag,or just cry at other post and the members and Guru give each other alot of confidence where it is needed.Honestly there is no where else I choose to be which sometimes can be a problem Very Happy

I am here because of the tradition of Casino Crush, which strives to really serve it's members and create a community of people that share a special bond not found but on very few forums. Poker Crush was able to create the same type of forum successfully by following that model along with the outstanding teaching and guidance of our Guru. Thanks Poker Crush and Poker Guru!!!

No thinking hard here Guru. I came here because I was interested in learning to play poker the right way.

2. I LOVE the people who, at the time this opened, were mostly Casino Crushers and since we were famlily I already KNEW how great they were!

3. The fact we had our own Guru to teach us how to play poker properly and still teaches us. We learn something new all the time!

4. Now that I am here - well I can't leave if I wanted to! LOL I am addicted!

I am here to say hi to all my friends at pc and tell them how much I miss them first . And to let you all know I will be here if it is OK with all of you . I don't seem to play poker but Darn I just miss all of you so much and how nice of a forum this is . I do learn here about poker just can't seem to get into playing it though . I love your chats ,arcade games ,and meeting all the new poker players . I know I don't quit fit in . But it comes down to I just need to say Damn I miss you all Guru and friends .

Thank you, my loyal Poker Crushers, for such honest entries! I am so glad we have all learned here at PC that as long as it is honest, any statement will be accepted without prejudice by all Poker Crushers -- and respected, whether agreed with or not! WHAT A GREAT and HUGE Life Lesson!

To be truthful, I had hoped for more entries. But I LOVED all we DID get!

Besides, you can make a post about this at anytime. It doesn't have to be in a contest. In fact, any time you start thinking about ANYTHING, you should start typing your thoughts. Then you can either delete them or (I promise) be delighted to post them here for others who also think, to read ..... and to respond to with their own thoughts, which should help you see more clearly!
