In Live Chat tonight, Guru broached the subject on all our minds.........our concern for Royal Crush. He announced that with her mother's death, she is now 4th in line to be chief of the Cherokee nation. Unlike her, she did not open an invitation to go to the inauguration of the new US president; she was invited in her official capacity. For those who are not aware, she has had a very rough month or so. Her beloved mother passed away, then her roommate became ill, her favorite pet was injured, and just this week, her father suffered a heart attack and is now in ICU. All prayers for her and her father are very much appreciated.

We are all praying that Sharon finds some relief for her stomach discomfort soon. She has a back injury which neccessitates her taking pain medication, and the medication is not agreeing with her stomach.

On to the end of the month drawing....................

crzynana won 2 games this evening and puzplus won the other game.

That brought the months standing to the following...........

Bower..........................15 chat chips
Sharon.........................10 chat chips
Puzplus.........................15 chat chips
Mamaw......................... 5 chat chips
Crzynana......................15 chat chips

That 3-way-tie made it necessary to play yet one more game.
The 3 contestants made their picks and the result was that a winner was revealed.

Crzynana2001 is the winner of the Chat Chip Marathon competition for the First month of this new year!!! WTG to all the winners this month.

P.S. Guru says the Chat Room is where we get the "REALLY GOOD GOSSIP" and I cannot deny it!

Nana I just think you do a fantastic job at telling about chat and my prayers are with you Royal and I hope you are on the mend Sharon as I know how you feel with a hurt back....Oh yes and the gossip I better schedule my upcoming poker games before and after the gossip or I mean the chat lol....
