Post subject: Guru's Poker Advice on New Year's Eve
Hi PCers!

On this New Year's Eve, my first thought about advice to give you is this: When your opponent is holding all the Aces, there's only one thing to do. Kick over the table.

There will be a regular lesson and changing of months, just as soon as I recover from New Year's Eve.

Here is wishing my entire flock the very best year in 2009 that you have ever yet had in your life!

Your Guru

ok folks, he asked for it......LOL

I never thought I would catch on to the game of texas-hold-em. But reading Guru's poker lessions are like learning llife lessons.....they just make sense!!!!or even some advice you can get from your local radio station, in a song sung by Kenny Rodgers...."you got to lnow when to hold 'em,know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run, you never count your money when your sitting at the table, there'll be time enough for counting when the deal is done" In other words, if the first 2 cards you get don't look good........DO NOT BE AFRAID TO FOLD!!!!!! If yoiu have a good hand, don't be afraid to bet it either!!!!

I have found that the sit-n-go texas hold-em's at pittbull poker is a very good place to pratice. The buy-ins range from .35 to .60 so you won't lose much money if you don't win. But as the old saying goes.... "Practice makes perfect"!!!! And have fun while you are practicing!!!!
