It has taken all night for me to convince myself that what I saw with my own eyes was all true!
I have not been witness to to a more perfectly played poker game by an entire table of true poker gentlemen and gentlewomen that I can remember.
I do not mean of amateur players. I mean OF ALL PLAYERS.
A beautiful event it was to behold! I wish I had known beforehand how that game would be played because I would have filmed it as an instructional tool for all future classes to study! A game carried out with such finesse that it is a perfect example to show new students and tell them, "This is to what you should aspire."
To simply say "Congratulations" is not enough to express my extreme pleasure with you, but CONGRATULATIONS!
I must take a moment to apologize for not responding to your greetings addressed to me while you were at the table. To expain my silence: The special contract that allows me to view you also forbids me from saying one word to you. The reason is that when other teams are also at the table, there can be no chance at all allowed for me to possibly be coaching anyone on my team.
But I was touched by your acknowledgement of my presence, nonetheless. I can remember a time when it would have made you nervous! How far you have come and how different things are now!
I feel that I should, for the sake of the entire membership, report on how you finished. So, PCers, the top five of the following team players will represent our forum on the 18th, when we play against many other poker forums. PLEASE GIVE THEM ALL YOUR SUPPORT. They represent YOU. They represent what you are learning right now!
This thread is the place for congratulations to and from!
Also for all discussions of the game!
