We have a chatroom all available to us Poker-Crushers... I suggest that we figure out a way to make use of it. Maybe set up some periodic chat dates, where we can mingle and get to know each other, brainstorm, or just hang out together. Even spontaenous chat meetings w/ members who are currently online and want to chat w/ others who are here... we could send a Post, so and so here in chat, approx. (give a time of when u got in, and how long you'll be there) if anyone wants to join me... to chat about something specific... or whatever. We all seem to enjoy posting, replying to each other, this would be a quicker way to be interactive, similar to CrazyHorse's messenger idea. Good one, btw! sunspun - 28.03.2006, 03:56 Post subject:
Sounds good to me - I check every now and then up on the top menu where it says "chat" and if anyone's in the room, it'll have a number (of people) in parentheses next to "chat". That's the same as it is on most any forum though, so you probably already knew that.
But it never shows anyone in there, I've noticed, so you're right, I can just look where it shows who's online when I am, and maybe find someone who's up for chatting right then... then the room will show people in it, which'll attract more people which will attract MORE people and pretty soon, it's a Movement! lol ( know what song that's from?)(or something vaguely similar anyway)

well i like the idea i have also checked and never seen anyone in chat i definatley think we should do somed sort of chat room events .i love getting to know people!!
