ty char, it is a decision that i have made several times and each time i leave him i always go back due to his false promises to get straight. he has been to rehab stopped drinking for 45 days. then last weekend it all went down the tubes again. it's a hopeless situation.

WOW !!!!! sometimes in doing these moments i don't think that they will really hit home for a lot of ppl, you know how it is, we do it then go about our day, i'm so sorry to hear that you are having rough times, rest assured life does get better, if it can get better for me, it can definately get better for anyone, i was married to 2 alcoholics & man i tell you what, i seem to attract them, men & women, i guess there are just so many of them it's just impossible to go through life w/o knowing at least one, i definately know what you are going through, what i've learned is "never live for anyone else because you lose yourself in the process"
GOD BLESS

please don't ever think it's hopeless, just remember "we are powerless over alcohol" be it the alcoholic or the many lives they affect !!
remember too if you don't take of yourself first, you CANNOT take care of anyone else !
