POKERGURU PRESENTS (Archive) - Have any of you had this happen? PokerGuru - 13.05.2008, 13:36 Post subject: Have any of you had this happen?Hello my play-natured PCers!
Have any of you noticed a lag in our Games in the Games section of our forum?
For example, take a try at playing "pool". Do the balls, especially just before hitting each other, stop for a second and then go ahead? Not smooth at all.
Further -- DOES ANYONE KNOW what would cause such a thing to happen?
Also, does anyone know if having more memory installed inside your computer would cure such a problem or help the computer's speed and performance in other areas?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

I am not sure game performance depends on computer memory, I have Gforce card and top of the line Dell XPS computer and playing some of the games is impossible. One thing , they appear to small , then for example Poux Puzzle game is very, very slow .My neighbor ( she lives two houses away from me ) has old computer and she also plays Poux Puzzle game and I have seen how fast and flawless it plays same games I have the problem with. So, I would say its impossible to determinate where the fault lies :-)

Thank you both so much.
Char - I will check my Java.
Kaska - I also have Dell XPS M1330 laptop and I am running Vista, Sp 1. Since I first made the post, I have come to believe I need a better graphics card installed. Until I read your post, I thought a Ge Force would do it. Back to the drawing board! LOL
It is frustrating, isn't it, when the older puter and older operating system handled games quite nicely?slotmom - 30.05.2008, 02:24 Post subject:
I am right on top of that I update my Java all the time at least once a month I up date it . And no I have no problems with the games on this sight . Thank you for asking Guru
