Very Happy Guess we are gonna have to if its us left at the final but I know what you mean that there is nothing worse then going up against a crusher on a hand. But its worse folding when your holding something real good and get the mixed emotions.

Girls, I hate to sound hard-hearted BUT.....

You have to check your emotions at the door when you enter a poker room. The table is no place for them.

Your only mission at the table is to play the very best you can and try with all that's in you to WIN!

If you were pros and they were keeping statistics on you, your emotions could end the season for you, halfway thru it!

You can pick your emotions up again on the way out and THEN is the time to talk to each other about it and how it is one of the hardest parts of poker. But it IS a PART of poker.

The name of the game is WIN! It will help your friend because your friend will learn from it and therefore become better.

Perhaps a more convincing consideration is this: If you do NOT play your very best to defeat even your friend, you are walking a very thin line and coming close to the dishonor and illegality of "throwing" a game.

You never know if somebody is making a big side bet on you. Even as an ameteur, you will have fans who do that and you must play your very best to be fair to them!

I hope a point or two in this post will help you with that dilemma.
