Pak & Kate Special Benefit Tourney
Most of you who play poker or have been around poker forums know The Blue Lizard's mod, Pakara52 (aka willie2trees).

His wife, Kate, has been ill for some time and was recently diagnosed with termminal cancer.

In an effort to help with medical bills, etc., we have joined with Pitbull Poker to have a Benefit Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to Pak. Pitbull Poker is giving an additional $50.

Pakara has supported many poker leagues from many different forums. He has always brought laughter to the poker tables with his jokes. This is a very sad time for Pak and Kate.

If you cannot make the game, please keep Pak and his wife in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi Bee..I've never met these folks , but it's an absolutely great cause, so I've registered....I just hope I can remember to play it on the 9th. I hope you've posted this on all the forums....we poker players have to stick together, especially in times of need!!

Pakara is not a member of CC or PC that I know of. But trust me when I say he would fit right in with everyone. His heart is as big as Texas and he is a dang good poker player.

My heart hurts knowing what he and Kate are going thur.

Thank you, Spookth for the wanted feeling.

And Dear Bee.... I don't dare play with one eye closed against these PCers! They have learned their lessons well and are still learning! Also, I must concentrate more heavily on new and better lessons because they deserve them and they ARE that advanced.

It would not please me to be beaten by a stranger. But it WOULD please me to be beaten by several of my own scholars! I would view that as a sign of doing my job well and would be very proud and happy!

I dont quite have enough to play but i have been looking for it and cant find it.Is it under tourneys or league?Good thinking to all thats playing and what a good reason.....
