Post subject: Congrats to Beckie

The other night I was in a tournament at Iron Duke. There was a player named Beckie and I was wondering if that was our Beckie. I finally asked and low and behold it was.

I want each of yall to know that Beckie played an excellant game of poker. Even when one rude person called her a name, Beckie was able to keep her composure and I believe she ended up taking him out of the game!!

Thru the whole game Beckies chip stack was at least doubled what anyone elses was. At one time she took a bad hit and lost quite a bit of her stack, but she would bounce back and become chip leader again.

My cards and luck were bad all night, but I was having fun watching her play her game. Beckie ruled the table all game long. One by one I watched her pick off her victims (myself a victime too). Many thought they had the best hand, but 9 times out of 10 Beckie came out on top!!

Beckie congrats on a great game and I am sorry I could not stay and watch to the end. You should be very proud of your poker game!

THAT'S OUR BECKIE!

I am soooooo proud of the way you played all thru the tournament, Beckie!

And....be careful about giving me too much credit.....YOU are the one who studied, re-studied, reviewed all the lessons, remembered, put it all together and YOU played the game!

Also....I am so proud of how our PC gentlewomen are in the vanguard of putting women players right up there among among the very best!
