Seems we can all use a little help in getting smiles on our faces these days, especially USA residents, some of whom are having really trying times with the attempted gambling ban and the way a lot of gambling sites have responded to it. As well as the more noticeable funding establishments.
I am one of those of the opinion that this is a temporary setback in gambling in the USA and cannot possibly work or last much longer. I won't go into all the reasons, but believe me, there is plenty of evidence to indicate this!
SO......heads up, troops! Better days are on their way! The Cavalry is coming; it is just now amassing and planning strategy!
In the meantime..........some things still easily put smiles on our faces!
For instance......I cracked up when I saw this headline in the newspaper. It was intended to be serious and maybe it is just myself who read it in such a way that brought out a rather weird humor reaction:
"PANDA MATING FAILS; VETERINARIAN TAKES OVER"
I made a statement in a PM to a PCer a few days ago, who came back at me with, "OUR GURU SAID THAT??????!!!!!!!"
Well, yes I did. Some days moods are better than other days! Here is what I said:
"Some people are like a Slinky......not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs."
Of course, if you are not old enough to remember Slinky, it will hold no humor for you.
By the way, I have several poker helps and tips ready for posting, and hope to get to it at least by tomorrow!
