HELP! I had this happen before but forgot how to fix!

Down below in the quick reply box - background used to be red and my text in white. For some reason now my background is white and so is my text so I can't read what I am writing.

Someone told me how to fix this once but I forgot.

Normal posts where I create one instead of quick reply are still red with white text it is just in quick reply box on the bottom.

Someone help please. I can't stand not seeing typos without having to select all my message to read it before I submit LOL

Valeria, I'll bet you have been playing around on your Profile page, haven't you? If not, I don't know what happened, but I do know how to fix it!

Go to your Profile page. Look down below all your personal information and you will find a section titled PREFERENCES.

One of those preferences is called "Board Style" and it gives you a drop-down menu. There you can select different color choices for your entire forum! The one most people use is called RED BLUSH. Geno named it that in honor of RoyalBlush because she is the one who suggested it for PC's main color. It is actually a kind of Indian red.

Let me know what you come up with. Okay?

Well guess what? I couldn't find preferences but my quick reply window was red for one second whien I started to type and now it switched back to white. dang.

Go to the Message-Center where you can send and recieve you're PMs.

I see NO preferences... hmmm went to preview before submit and came back to my post and guess what? It is red again! LOL I have no idea what is going on.

Hi Valeria,

So sorry, hun! I left out a step.

When you get to Profile Information, click on it. Then it will take you to the page where you will see Preferences below your profile details.

Let me know if still have problem!

hmmm sorry dont think that will work...but that was the answer you got last time and you never replied to say whether it worked or not...lol funny thing is it was the 9th of aug last year the same thing happened almost a year to the day

well did all tht and it already says redblush. Came back to this message and saw a red background for a half second (after I pressed submit to reconfirm the choices in preferences) but it immediately went back to white. bummer.

that is weird that you said it happened last year about the same time LOL
so I am still stuck with white.. *sigh*

OHHHH found the problem!!! YAY! It was my PAYPAL addon (one that fills in all Paypal info automatically). Disabled it and now I am back to red!! That was the only thing I could figure out that I added to IE in the last few months.

So if you have that problem and have the Paypal toolbar(addon) disable it Razz
