Ok I am going against the grain here... yes the MONEY MONEY MONEY gets your attention but that seems a little sensational to me as we are more about learning poker than giving out tons of cash.

Now if it said learn to pay poker like a Pro and possibly raise your income because of it and yes include the fact we give a lot of cash prizes away, I would be more impressed.

To me the way it is now... we will attract more freeloaders than people who want to learn poker. More people after free money than are serious about learning Poker. I dunno... I think it will attract the wrong kind of people... more lazy less thinking and after more free money.

Sorry everyone to go against the grain... I think it needs to be more of a mixture of LEARNING (1st) and MONEY (2nd).

After all- our new listing in Google is for the best forum around to learn poker!!!!

And while I am on the bandwagon LOL

We want our membership to rise yes... but we want people really interested in POKER. Now if they are serious about poker or wanting to learn poker they will come running anyway whether we dangle $$$$ in front of their eyes or not.

Yes it is nice to entice to get them to come....waving $$$$ but a serious person won't stay or contribute for that fact alone... a person who is good of heart, has some brains, and wants to LEARN WILL stay and contribute.... and yes MONEY always helps Razz

OK one more time... I can't shut up about this cuz I have really been seriously thinking this over..

How about a headline like: (you don't need to use this - this is for example only)

DO YOU WANT TO LEARN TO PLAY POKER LIKE A PRO AND WIN FREE CASH WHILE LEARNING???

Now THAT would get my attention!

DONE!!

You have some VERY valuable points to consider! And I certainly shall consider them.

One more thing: I ALWAYS admire anyone with the guts to go against the grain, As I feel sure everyone else here does too. So.....God bless you for helping us remain a site where members' opinions are always received with high respect!!!!!

Hi,

I read the whole thing and I agree with everyone who says its warm and welcoming for new members...I still think though that the FREE money is still down too low Wink

just my opinion...

Anyone should feel privledged to become a PCr....

2nd paragraph talk about all our free money and winning money..

3rd paragrah talk about members, leagues, stores, family and all the other good stuff you have on there already.

I was never good at writing in english classes but what you're writing
sounds great to me.The idea of testimonials is brilliant.I for one love
seeing screen shots as I believe most people do.Adding links to the testimonials, since I believe 100% of them are a direct result of your teachings, would stir the heart of any poker player.
