Relative sizes are easy to see. Just look around the table at who has how much. But what about when you first start to play at a ring table? How much should your stack be to start with? Here is my opinion: Decide how much you are going to play for by choosing a table with a big blind that doesn't sound like too much to you. If that table meets all the other requirements we talked about in another recent lesson, choose it and decide how much to take to the table this way: EXAMPLE: If the big blind is 25 cents .......... $10 would be a small stack $15would be a medium stack $25 would be a big stack Of course you will see some show-off types bringing all they have to the table to impress you. They impress me about as much as pre-flop all-inners do! Your Guru
