This is 3rd of 12 "tips" so stay tuned

3. Never make anything worse. Sure, it sounds obvious?

But guess what? I've never met anyone who didn't make things worse, including myself. People get angry, and they make things worse.

In gambling, this is dangerous- crossing the threshold of misery.
Here's how it works. A player meant to play just $500. Everything goes wrong and now he is down $1,000. He has now crossed the threshold of misery- Losing $1,114 doesn't feel any worse than losing $1,000.
That extra $114 doesn't matter, so he concentrates less and plays worse.

It happens all the time in life. Decisions that would normally matter (like that extra $114) don't seem to matter by comparison.
People who are heartbroken, make the worst business decisions imaginable. Those decisions don't seem to matter, compared to the heartbreak.

But, those decisions all add up, and eventually.... they will matter!!!

Many losing players could be lifelong winners if they simply
"never made things worse." Worse out of anger, worse out of self-pity, worse out of temper.

Remember this: If it doesn't matter now, it will matter tomorrow. So from now on, promise yourself you will never make things worse. You will never make things worse. Before you know it, you will make things worse less often ,and therefore win more!

very true especially when it comes to money, ive done it before and meant to spend £50 and as i was in a really depressed and fed up mood i ended up spending £200, before you know it i was chasing money and had emptird bank of £800 in total, felt so sick as it was money i needed to pay things and was in total mess by losing it, ended up depositing last £20 in bank and hit a lucky streat on slots and cashed out £1500 so ended up about £700 up, that was few years ago but if i hadnt hit that lucky streak(which normally you wouldnt have) i wouldnt have had a penny to my name and been in a lot of trouble as some things had to get paid, so that night i learned valuable lesson in never making things worse, if ive lost money i shouldnt then still quit as chasing it back and losing everything you have will make things so much worse, i got lucky but most times you wont

I LIVE IN VEGAS, DON'T THINK I HAVEN'T DONE IT BEFORE, MORE TIMES THAN I'D CARE TO ADMIT- WAS LONG AGO, BUT STILL I KNOW HOW IT IS EASY TO DO.

IN LIFE I AM USUALLY ALWAYS MAKING IT WORSE, SOME HOW OR WAY. IN TRUTH THIS IS BEEN MY DAILY "QUOTE" TRYING TO MAKE DAILY GOAL.
IF THAT IS ALL I MANAGE- THATS 1 SUCCESS OF 12. LOL
SO FAR SO GOOD.

WEEKS WORTH OF NOT MAKING THINGS WORSE IS A GOOD START DON'T YA THINK?
