Please explain this to me

I was playing No Limit Hold’em for real money and have no idea why I lost?I had king pair with kicker ace and my opponent had bullet aces.
No pairs on the table…
and he beats me with AA - acepair :s

His Aces beat your Kings so the kicker didn't matter.

You really should try to understand how poker http://poker.dejeuxcasino.com/ works before you start playing 4 tables at once.Unless I'm at one of those tables, then I wouldn't mind.But seriously. After the flop you were still only holding AK. Any pair would kick your ass. AK is a great starting hand, but don't wait until the river to hit something, it gets expensive in the long run.

His aces beats your kings, you ace has nothing to do with this hand.

Finshko is right here.

It is just fine to hold on to AK UNTIL the flop is dealt. You could even hold on until the turn is dealt. But at that point, if you haven't paired up or better, GET RID of your cards. It would be plain foolishness to count on the river to save you.
Itt won't 95% of the time!

So, as Finshko said, it could get mighty expensive! That would be playing like a fish for sure!

And coke ~ I suggest you look up the chart for what beats what before you even think about playing poker. Such charts can be found almost anuywhere that deals with poker, but if you cannot find one, come back and tell us and we will provide a chart for you.

Kickers do not count in poker unless you have tying hands. And a pair of Kings does not tie a pair of Aces.

But hang in there and keep learning. You will be in the know pretty quickly.
